Whitaker Laboratory, Inc. has been involved in the environmental consulting field for approximately 20 years and performs, more than 250 Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments per year. 
We began doing Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA’s) as well as pre-purchase and exit Transactional Screening Assessments (TSA’s) for banks, municipal governments, and private industry as sophisticated lenders and developers became aware of the liability they assumed in acquiring or financing new projects.

Initially, our main consideration was for landfills and chemical dump sites.  More recently other factors such as petroleum contamination, asbestos containing materials (ACM’s) and lead based paint (LBP) contamination have come to the forefront of environmental assessments.

We also perform UST site closures, groundwater investigations, slug testing and groundwater fate and transport modeling,  and corrective action plans (CAP-A and CAP-B) for retail, commercial, industrial and private UST sites. In some environmental situations, radon gas, methane gas, radioactivity and subsurface corrosives within soil and groundwater are also a consideration.               GO BACK
